Association of Commercial Banks of Latvia (Lv, E) ACBL is a public organization, uniting on voluntary principle the banks registered in Latvia and branches of foreign banks. It was founded on July 23, 1992. The purpose of Association is to contribute to strengthening and development of the banking system of Latvia. In order to achieve this target, the Association put forward the following main tasks: Coordination of common bank projects development; representation of common interests of member-banks in governmental and municipal institutions, public and international organizations, Protection of rights and interests of members of the Association, participation in improvement of bank legislation, arranging training and improvement of professional skills of bank employees, methodical, legal and consultative assistance to Association members."

Latvian Insurers Association (Lv, E) "Latvian Insurers Association (LIA) is a public institution, which was founded on 12 August, 1993, by joint stock insurance companies registered in the Republic of Latvia. LIA represents the common interests of the insurance industry of Latvia.
