The purpose of this link page is to provide useful business links associated with Estonia.  There is no commercial purpose or personal financial gain from this link page.  Most links include a title, languages used, services, and a brief description of the mission and purpose of the site.  Services include search engines, blogs, on-line polls, site of origin (e.g., .lv, .com, .net) and transactions.  Transactions could be nonfinancial (e.g., registration) to financial (e.g., payment of fees) Almost every brief description is a direct quote from the link.  Most of these direct quotes will refer to either the mission or objectives of the link.

Baltic Institute (S, G, Est)  "The Baltic Institute concentrates on supporting processes that lead to increased integration in the region. This also means an enduring presence. In other words, the Baltic Institute will not participate in a project for a short time only and then retire without any sense of responsibility for what happens subsequent to the completion of the project. Furthermore, the institute aims to use its knowledge and large network to build bridges between different parties. Thus, synergetic opportunities will arise and new ideas of how to develop  cooperation can be considered. In a too limited project there is always a risk that selective measures will be carried out without proper regard for the whole."

It is a development Bank which provides loans, policy advice, technical assistance and knowledge sharing services to low and middle income countries to reduce poverty.
