Merit Award

SHRM's review of all 2007 - 2008 Student Chapter Merit Award entries hasbeen completed. The Boise State University SHRM Student Chapter has earned the Merit Award.

HR Collegiate Competition

The Human Resource Association took seventh out of thirteen teams in the Pacific West Human Resource Collegiate Competition April 4-5, 2008 at California State Long Beach. It took first place among non-California teams.  The Boise State team beat the eventual champion California State Fresno in dual competitionThis competition features Jeopardy-style games that test knowledge of human resource management.  Decateur Reed, adjunct instructor in the management department, coached the team. Thanks to the Human Resource Association of Treasure Valley (HRATV) for donating $1000 to the club for the HR Collegiate Competition.
