General Business
(Boise State University)

The general business major provides a broad-based curriculum, offering background in a variety of business areas. The major is designed for students who do not wish to specialize in any single area of business. Emphasis is placed on the development of logical thinking and the use of technical tools directed at recognizing and solving problems that occur in the business community. This major is appropriate for those students who wish to enter management-trainee programs offered by business corporations, ranging from the fast-food industry to public utilities to financial institutions.

New Major!!!
The General Business Management Major will change to "General Business" Fall 2008.  The new major will provide greater upper division course flexibility so students can specialize in a subtopic of their choice or fit their schedules.  The change is shown in the Degree Requirements Checklist on the left.
