Aaron Dreiling, Management, Entrepreneurial Option

Management Department Student of the Month:  Sarah Birchfield, Management (Entrepreneurial Option Minor)

Bronco Venture Championship  Saturday, February 9, 2008, 8:00am to 12:00pm BSU Student Union Bldg., Farnsworth Room The Bronco Venture Championship is a business plan competition conducted annually by the College of Business & Economics. It is aimed at encouraging and developing innovative and realistic business ideas. Conducted in two tracks, graduate and undergraduate, the competition serves as a channel for Boise State University students to gain entry into the Northwest Venture Championship®, an international business plan competition hosted by Boise State University each spring and to other business plan competitions across North America. Graduate Track teams that win at the Northwest Venture Championship® will be eligible to represent Boise State University at Moot Corp®, the pinnacle of business plan competitions at the University of Texas, Austin.

Dusty Bodie has been nominated for the 2007 Division of Student Affairs Faculty Partner Award for faculty who have provided support and service to students beyond classroom teaching and research responsibilities.

Sandy Gough presented "A Practical Tool for Business Continuity During a Flu Pandemic" to the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice on September 18, 2007.  (University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine.  Co-presenter was Uwe Reischi.
